The year is 2057. World War III has left the United States a post-apocalyptic warzone. A survivor stumbles upon this derelict diner in rural Iowa as he searches for other survivors. Oddly enough, the power still works, so he sits down to reflect and plan his next journey.

Illgen Falls on the Baptism River

Illgen Falls is a 40 foot waterfall at Tettegouche State Park on the Baptism River. This fall is a bit hidden, as it is not located on the state trail system. Getting to this fall requires parking on a pull-off and hiking down an unmarked trail about 100 yards to this lovely waterfall. Considering the pool and the rope swings, you can tell this is a popular playground on hot days.
